Seriously, bitches?

Okay, I have a lot of feels about the album. There are a few songs I loved immediately, which is rare for me, and there are some that have grown on me. Others...not so much. To be fair, Young Volcanoes and The Phoenix both took a LOT of listens, so maybe these ones will eventually grow on me, too. However, I can't even really listen to Rat A Tat with that beginning. I'm sorry, I was trying to give it a shot. There are a couple Hole songs from the early 90s that I liked, so...you know, I'm not necessarily against Courtney Love from the go...how*ever* her little...IDEK, rap?? is so painful to listen to, and the whole "It's Courtney, bitch," makes me cringe so hard in embarrassment for them. Like, what, she's still relevant in anyway? Sorry, honey, no one *cares* if it's Courtney. Maybe I'll get over it. I hope so, because I actually like the lyrics in it, particularly in the second verse. Meh. And who knows, I might be the only person in the world who feels that way.
Anyway, overall, I like it. It is definitely my least favourite of all their albums, but considering how much I love them, and love all their albums, that doesn't = bad. Just not to my tastes, entirely. I'll deal with it, and there are a few of the songs that will become favourites, I know. I'm just glad that they are constantly changing, which means the next album will be different from this.
