Artist's notes: "Acrylic paint, and ink on paper. I admit I had to go and read the previous stories in this series before I could begin to formulate the art (and if you are unfamiliar with them- first what rock have you been hiding under, and second I highly recommend them!). I really really enjoyed this 'verse, and making the three pieces of art for Frank and Gerard's story was so much fun. So thank you for that!"







My notes: The Northern Downpour background is *exactly* what I imagined when I wrote the fic. I wished I actually had a band with that name so that I could use it as the backdrop on stage. The details with all the snowflakes, and the gorgeous lettering. The other two--just how I imagined the boys in this fic (their expressions, their clothing, their eyes, the blue and red hair--AWESOME!). The style is so cool, almost posterized.

Oh man! There were the songs I hadn't heard by artists I know--Goo Goo Dolls, Brand New--which made me so happy b/c I love them, IDK why I hadn't heard those. (Part of the chorus of Slide seems familiar, but I don't think I'd ever actually listened to the lyrics). Plus, the new stuff--I'd never even heard of Daniel Powter, but his voice is very nice, almost reminded me of Gerard's at times :D and Kate is Great is like, the perfect tour song.

And, okay, I don't like Katy Perry, but that song was just PERFECT and sort of hilarious.

But really, the Jack Johnson song has to be my favourite--the sound, his voice, and the lyrics which are so perfectly Frank in this fic <3

These are adorable! I love the slightly naughty expression on Frank's face in both pieces, but especially the blue-haired one, and the snowflakes just on Frank, with Gerard's earnest smile, made me giggle. The Northern Downpour piece is ridiculously perfect, too. Great art :D!
