I go back and forth. 4) George Orwell, because he pays attention to both style and content, i.e. writes books that are both superbly constructed and very pleasant to read. His writing is the holy grail of how to write well for me. I think his 1984 is actually my favourite book, for those reasons. 5) No. :) Hmm... snakes, I think. I really don't like snakes.
