Questions vaguely related to my big bang fic...

So, I don't like going onto comms and posting questions. I'm socially awkward, even on line. If you guys can help, that's cool, otherwise I'll just make some shit up.
1.) What different bands was Jon a part of before joining Panic, when did he start working as a tech on tour w/TAI, and did any of his previous bands ever release any cds? I can't find any fucking information on things like 504 plan. How/why did they break up, etc.
2.) I've seen reference made to Pete and Jon having grown up together, and I've seen pics of them being dorks together from before Panic days, but I don't know how much of their friendship is real and how much is fandom. So, did they actually grow up together? Or did they meet on the Chicago scene, or something?
